My name is Branden Aitken. 

I was born on August 24, 2001 in the Victoria General Hospital.  I have lived the majority of my life in Nanaimo.  I started doing karate when I was 9 years old on the very first day of third grade.  A few friends got me started, they joined, and then I soon followed.  I am now 16 and starting grade 12 at Dover Bay Secondary. 

Through thick and thin I have stuck with karate. I had some ups and downs throughout my journey, but here I am.  I wish to continue training as long as I can.  I enjoy it very much and it is a good stress reliever. 

My favorite thing about the dojo is how it never disappoints when you need to be cheered up. 

After High School I aspire to be a pharmacist.

  It will be challenging, but this proves that if you try hard enough at anything and do whatever it takes you will eventually succeed.
