Kyle Jury

I was born on the 7th of October in 2001 in Nanaimo. At that time I lived in Parksville but then moved around alot, both within and outside of BC, until returning to Nanaimo in 2006.
I began training at Shima Karate School when I was 6 years old, and I am now beginning my grade 11 year at Dover Bay Secondary School. I soon hope to graduate and go to university, although I am not certain on what I will study.

Karate has had a huge impact on my life, and it has allowed me to succeed in my life.
If I were to pick one thing I learned from studying Karate over the years it would be that determination is the one of the strongest skills a person can learn. Within Karate I learned that it matters less of how capable you are, what matters is the effort heart you put into the actions you take.
