Richard Jane

I was born in Sunderland, England from the ages 3-7 I went to a private school then during the summer of 2007 I moved to Nanaimo, Canada.
I've lived Nanaimo for almost 10 years and couldn't be happier with the change of scenery. I've been doing karate for 9 years at Shima and I've loved the journey the entire way. Karate has been a very big part of my life the dojo is like a second home to me it's a wonderful atmosphere to be around.
On top of karate I also snowboard and I enjoy almost any type of sport and keeping active. I graduated from wellington secondary school this year but don't plan to pursue post secondary education. I love teaching karate and I hope to be continuing that for as long as I can.
I don't know what my future holds but I know that it will be a happy one.
